CSU consistently ranks highly for graduate employment. According to the 2011 Australian Graduate Destination Survey, 82% of CSU domestic students found full-time employment within four months of completing their bachelor degree, which was almost 6 percentage points above the national average. In the 2012 Good Universities Guide, CSU received five out of a possible five stars in Graduate Employment Outcomes.

CSU transcends national and international borders to offer nearly 400 undergraduate, postgraduate and research courses to around 35,000 students studying on campus, by distance education, and through partner institutions around the world.

International students can study at one of the CSU campuses in regional New South Wales in Albury-Wodonga, Bathurst, Orange or Wagga Wagga, at a specialist Theology campus in Canberra or Parramatta, or at a CSU Study Centre located in the central business districts of Melbourne and Sydney
